Birth (Natural)  Mother Trauma Book

 

 

Some natural mothers go into a prolonged mourning period that can last for years, following the relinquishment of a child to adoption.  The suppression of the painful memories into the subconscious can be maintained over a lifetime, until she finds a  way to heal.  It is important that she allow herself to go through a healing process that will reframe the past and change the way she view herself in the present.

Note:  The term “birth mother” was used at the time of printing as that was the term that was accepted at that time.  In the rest of my work I use the term “natural mother”.
